iPSC patents

In an article first posted on the Cambridge IP blog, EESCN Director Julian Hitchcock, who is also a lawyer specialising in stem cells and regenerative medicine, writes about two recent induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSC) patents: the first to be granted outside Japan.  Julian also comments on aspects of European patent law and asks whether the time has come for the law to focus more on epigenetic control than on phenotypic outcome.
